Founders of Kula Yoga + Coffee
Hello and welcome!
We’re Krista and Justin Cooper, husband-and-wife duo, yoga teachers, and co-founders of Kula Yoga + Coffee in Port Charlotte, Florida.
​
Our journey began over a decade ago in California, where we met and fell in love through the practice of yoga. We’re both Registered Yoga Teachers certified through High Vibe Yoga in Bali, and we’ve been teaching various styles, including: vinyasa, yin, restorative, and partner yoga for over 8 years.
​
In 2018, we opened our first yoga studio in Sunnyvale, CA. After life led us in a new direction, we relocated to Florida in 2021, welcomed our beautiful twin daughters, and rooted ourselves in community and family life. In 2022, we opened Kula Wellness Hot Yoga, and in 2024, we launched our dream project, Kula Yoga Academy, a Yoga Alliance Registered School.

This retreat is a reflection of our values: community, connection, and joy. It’s not just about yoga, it’s about coming home to yourself, supported by nature, movement, and shared experience.
